In an article taken from the Italian mag 'CIAO 2001', in 1980, in which was described a concert in London, was written the following:
... the final piece is 'automatic', robotic and futuristic at one hundred per cent, a mixture of DEVO, KRAFTWERK and ROCKETS (SAL SOLO has expressed a great admiration for them).

A halo of mistery involves the band proposing, in the same year, the same single launched by ROCKETS that differs in production (by Mike Oliver rather than Claude Lemoine) but also for instrumentation and for the presence of a female voice.
He was member and leader of CLASSIX NOUVEAUX then joined ROCKETS in 1984; his collaboration lasts till 1992.
In 1985 he became Christian and from now on he publishes a few solo works (surely
influenced by his conversion).
In June 1996 he goes to Magnificat Multifestival" in Crotone (Italy), one of the more
important show with artists committed in 'Christian music'.
In the latest years he made shows in America, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland and United
Kingdom.

VISITORS history is indissoluble from the story of Jean-Pierre Massiera's career, that
started in 1960 when he taught himself to play guitar.
After a few years in changing band, components and musical styles (R'n'B, rock, jazz,
progressive, and so on) in 1974, as producer with Claude Lemoine, releases the first
VISITORS record, on 'Decca' label.
Jean-Pierre Massiera and other 19 musicians partecipated to the realization of it.
In 1981, exploiting ROCKETS success, was produced a new album with the same title but
completely different, both in pieces and in style (still produced by Claude Lemoine and
Jean-Pierre Massiera).

The pieces 'Terre larbour' and 'Flatwoods story' included in their first album were
also recorded later by ROCKETS.
'Terre larbour' in an identical version but shorter (1 minute instead of 3) was included
in the album 'Rockets' and 'Flatwoods story' titled 'Astro
storm' and with a new mixing was included in the album '¶ 3,14'.
The piece 'Joyo can you hear? part 2' included in their second album 'Visitors' was the
signature tune of the Italian TV show 'TG7' in 1981.
I remember only one apparition on Italian TV in 1981, VISITORS were five or six people,
all with a spacesuit and a strange pectoral device, making little noises (beep beep) and
having a curious blond and curly hair (costumes and look were created by Victor Togliani).

He partecipates to the realization of the ROCKETS album 'On the road again' in 1978 playing vocoder.
Later he become producer of the band DEAD OR ALIVE (one of their famous pieces is 'That's
the way').
